Disaster Relief Resource
The Pi Rho Omega (PRO) Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Disaster Relief Resource, promotes, supports, and educates chapter members on emergency management (prepare, mitigate, respond, and recover) and disaster relief in reference to the following:
- Natural disasters (floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, droughts, etc.)
- Human caused events (human intent: terrorism, hazard spills, major fires, explosions, etc.)
- Pandemics (a disease epidemic that has spread across a large region, multiple continents, or worldwide).
Our objective is to provide consistent and concise communication to Pi Rho Omega chapter members in a timely and efficient manner that assists in minimizing the impact of disasters as it relates to the chapter in accordance, but not limited to, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Chapter Disaster Relief Guide.
