Greetings, on behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® Pi Rho Omega Chapter, located in North Chesterfield, Virginia. It gives me great joy to serve our chapter as the 15th president. The Pi Rho Omega Chapter prides ourselves in serving our immediate and surrounding communities with excellence.

Chartered in 1987, we became the 87th chapter of the Mid-Atlantic Region.  We are the proud home of the 17th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Dr. Linda H. Gilliam. 

Over the years Pi Rho Omega Chapter has been engaged in numerous service projects in Chesterfield and surrounding areas.  As a result of our efforts, we have made major accomplishments by receiving several outstanding graduate chapter awards and recognition for outstanding programs. 

Our website will provide information on our programs, scholarships, and services we provide. Our programming supports the sorority’s 2022-2026 International Program under the theme Soaring to Greater heights of Service and Sisterhood. As we set ourselves to Soar, we will focus on strengthening our sisterhood to support our service goal while implementing our five program initiatives in the most impactful way.

Lastly, as a 16-year member of this amazing sorority, I am blessed beyond measure to have the privilege to serve as the 2023-2024 Chapter President to over 300 intelligent, engaged, skillful and talented women. Under my chapter leadership, we will be “Making it PEARLSonal” as the work we do is a reflection on us.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated^® is dedicated to implementing program initiatives of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national and international communities. Programs remain the heart of AKA. The size and scope of services provided to our communities have grown and significantly improve the quality of life for all who reside within our service areas. The program theme for 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. The International Program includes one (1) foundation initiative Strengthen Our Sisterhood which is an intentional way to continue to strengthen our bonds to support our service mission and six (6)  program initiatives that are designed to improve the lives of those we serve.
